Job Description
A reservation executive manages bookings for hotels, travel, or events by taking reservations, handling inquiries, and providing customer service via phone, email, or online platforms. Key duties include processing reservations accurately, managing cancellations and modifications, handling payments, and resolving customer issues. They are also responsible for maintaining customer records, coordinating with other departments, and sometimes upselling additional services. Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing information and assistance.
Reservation Management:
Book, confirm, and amend reservations for travel, accommodations, or events.
Process cancellations and modifications accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure the accuracy of all reservation details and customer information.
Operations and Systems:
Accurately record and process reservations in the booking system.
Accept and process payments.
Maintain detailed records of reservations and customer communications.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., front office, operations) to ensure smooth service delivery.
Sales and Support:
Upsell additional services, packages, or upgrades when appropriate.
Handle customer complaints and resolve booking issues promptly.
Help with forecasting room revenue and occupancy based on reservation data.
