Job Description
Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify and repair problems. Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep machinery and facilities running smoothly. Address and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise. Respond to maintenance requests from building occupants or other employees. Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations. Conduct general upkeep and repair, such as painting or fixing structures. Maintain heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Technical knowledge: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems. Problem-solving: The ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to complex issues. Physical ability: Stamina and physical strength for manual tasks. Attention to detail: Meticulousness to ensure all repairs are completed correctly and safely. Communication: Skill in communicating with management and building occupants. Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks, especially during emergencies.
