Job Description: As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products/services to potential customers in designated geographic areas. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, acquiring new customers, and building long-lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and a customer-centric mindset. Key Responsibilities: Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, door-to-door visits, networking, and referrals. Build and maintain a pipeline of leads to achieve sales targets. Customer Acquisition: Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective customers to close sales. Communicate product features, benefits, and pricing effectively to address customer needs and preferences. Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and retention. Provide personalized assistance and support to address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests. Market Analysis: Research market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for sales growth. Gather feedback from customers and relay insights to the sales and marketing teams. Sales Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans and tactics to achieve sales targets and objectives. Set SMART goals, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize sales performance. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and sales pipeline updates. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, leads generated, and conversion rates for management review. Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and encourage repeat business. Provide after-sales support and assistance as needed to maintain positive customer relationships. Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and operations, to support sales efforts and ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment. Training and Development: Stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development. Share best practices and success stories with colleagues to enhance team performance. Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities. Maintain confidentiality of customer information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Proven experience (X years) in field sales or direct sales roles, preferably in a similar industry or market. Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers. Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to achieving goals. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools/systems is a plus. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory. Knowledge of the local market and customer preferences in Trivandrum is an asset.
