Job Description: As a Water Purifier Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining water purification systems for residential and commercial clients in Palakkad and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and test water purification systems according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and routine servicing of water purifiers to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with water purification equipment, including filtration systems, pumps, valves, and electrical components. Replace defective parts, components, or modules as needed to restore functionality and efficiency of water purifiers. Perform water quality tests and analysis to ensure that purified water meets industry standards and customer expectations. Educate customers on proper operation, maintenance, and usage of water purification systems, including providing guidance on filter replacements and system care. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and inventory of spare parts/tools, and submit reports as required by management. Coordinate with the sales team and provide technical support during product demonstrations, installations, and customer consultations. Stay updated on the latest advancements in water purification technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to enhance technical knowledge and skills. Uphold company policies and safety procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to quality standards and guidelines. Qualifications: Diploma or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field. Proven experience (X years) as a technician in the water purification industry or similar field. Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing water purification systems. Familiarity with electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical systems related to water treatment equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed. Physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy equipment and tools.
