Job Description: The Car Washer plays a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles serviced at our center are cleaned and prepared to the highest standards. This role involves performing exterior and interior washing of vehicles, as well as assisting with other detailing tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and take pride in delivering superior results. Responsibilities: Exterior Washing: Wash the exterior of vehicles using high-pressure water hoses, soap, and cleaning brushes to remove dirt, grime, and debris. Pay special attention to areas such as wheels, tires, and undercarriage. Interior Cleaning: Vacuum and wipe down the interior of vehicles, including seats, carpets, door panels, and dashboard, to remove dust, dirt, and stains. Clean and polish interior surfaces for a pristine appearance. Window and Mirror Cleaning: Clean windows, mirrors, and windshield using glass cleaner and microfiber cloths, ensuring streak-free and crystal-clear visibility. Wheel and Tire Detailing: Clean and polish wheels and rims to remove brake dust and restore shine. Apply tire dressing to enhance the appearance of tires and protect against cracking and fading. Trim and Exterior Detailing: Clean and shine exterior trim, moldings, and chrome accents using appropriate cleaning products and detailing tools. Apply wax or polish to painted surfaces for added protection and shine. Assisting with Detailing Services: Assist detailing technicians with tasks such as waxing, polishing, and paint correction as needed. Follow instructions and guidelines to ensure quality results. Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain car washing equipment, including pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, and detailing tools. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor. Adhering to Safety Protocols: Follow safety guidelines and procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Customer Interaction: Greet customers and provide courteous assistance as needed. Answer questions and address concerns regarding car washing services. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the car washing area clean and organized at all times, including disposing of trash and waste properly and ensuring that cleaning supplies are stocked. Qualifications: Prior experience in car washing, auto detailing, or a similar role preferred, but not required. Ability to work efficiently and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Basic understanding of automotive cleaning techniques, tools, and products. Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Basic communication skills in English or Malayalam.
