Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Spare Parts Incharge to manage our spare parts department and oversee all aspects of spare parts inventory, procurement, sales, and customer service. The Spare Parts Incharge will play a crucial role in maintaining adequate stock levels, optimizing inventory turnover, and providing timely support to customers and service technicians. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the spare parts department, including inventory management, procurement, sales, and customer service. Monitor spare parts inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to meet customer demand and service department requirements. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure spare parts, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of orders. Receive and inspect incoming shipments of spare parts, verify accuracy of orders, and reconcile discrepancies with suppliers as needed. Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory, including stock levels, receipts, and sales transactions, using the dealership's inventory management system. Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, stock rotation, and obsolescence management, to minimize shrinkage and ensure inventory accuracy. Process spare parts sales orders, including pricing, invoicing, and payment processing, while providing excellent customer service to meet customer needs and expectations. Collaborate with the service department to fulfill spare parts requests for vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of parts to service technicians. Train and supervise spare parts staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to optimize departmental efficiency and productivity. Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing spare parts operations and sales activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in spare parts management, inventory control, and procurement, preferably within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components, including familiarity with part numbers, specifications, and compatibility. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using inventory management software and computer applications for order processing, data analysis, and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance in spare parts transactions and record-keeping. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and satisfaction. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
