Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Bodyshop Advisor to join our team. The Bodyshop Advisor will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking collision repair and paint services. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate repair processes to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Greet customers and assess their vehicle repair needs, including collision damage, paintwork, and cosmetic repairs. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, documenting damage and identifying repair requirements accurately. Consult with customers to explain repair options, provide cost estimates, and obtain authorization for repairs. Coordinate with insurance companies to facilitate claims processing, including preparing estimates, submitting documentation, and negotiating repair approvals. Schedule repair appointments and coordinate workflow with the production team to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of repairs. Communicate with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates on the status of their vehicles and addressing any concerns or questions. Review repair orders and invoices with customers, explaining the work performed, associated costs, and warranty information. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations governing body shop operations. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair details, and billing information in the shop management system. Collaborate with the production team to resolve technical issues, prioritize work orders, and deliver high-quality repair services. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive technology or collision repair is preferred. Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry. Knowledge of collision repair processes, paint techniques, and automotive refinishing products. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and insurance representatives. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer applications for estimating, invoicing, and customer relationship management. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
