Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automobile Technical Supervisor to oversee our team of automotive technicians and ensure the efficient and effective execution of repair and maintenance services. The Technical Supervisor will play a key role in supervising operations, providing technical guidance, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of automotive technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring work progress to ensure timely completion of repairs and services. Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, assisting with diagnostic procedures, troubleshooting complex issues, and recommending repair solutions. Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices. Train and mentor technicians on new technologies, repair techniques, and safety procedures to enhance their skills and knowledge. Monitor inventory levels of automotive parts and supplies, coordinating with the parts department to ensure availability and timely procurement. Maintain accurate records of work orders, service histories, and vehicle information in the service database, ensuring data integrity and completeness. Collaborate with the Service Advisor to address customer concerns, provide technical explanations of repairs, and ensure customer satisfaction. Enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulations governing automotive repair operations to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers. Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in automotive technology, and manufacturer updates to effectively manage technical operations and service delivery. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a commitment to excellence among the technical team. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an automotive technician, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in vehicle repair and maintenance. Previous supervisory or leadership experience in an automotive service environment is preferred. Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair procedures for various makes and models of vehicles. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to technicians and customers. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in computer applications and software systems for work order management and inventory control. Commitment to upholding high standards of workmanship, quality, and customer service. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
