The Service Advisor will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive service and maintenance. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of automotive systems, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for our clients. Responsibilities: Greet customers and assess their service needs in a courteous and professional manner. Listen to customer concerns, questions, and requests regarding their vehicles and accurately document their service requirements. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and consult with customers to recommend appropriate services and repairs based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition. Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including cost estimates, timelines, and benefits to the customer. Coordinate service appointments and schedule repairs with the service technicians to ensure timely completion. Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicles and addressing any additional concerns or questions. Review service orders and invoices with customers, explaining the work performed and ensuring customer satisfaction. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer service, pricing, and service quality. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and vehicle information in the service database. Collaborate with the service team to resolve customer issues and improve service processes to enhance the overall customer experience. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive technology or customer service is preferred. Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance procedures, and repair techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in computer applications and software systems for scheduling, invoicing, and record-keeping. Commitment to providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
