Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with our dental professionals to ensure efficient and effective delivery of dental care services to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others achieve optimal oral health. Responsibilities: Assist the dental team during examinations and treatments. Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed by the dentist. Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including suctioning, passing instruments, and other tasks as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, billing, and maintaining inventory supplies. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in dental assisting preferred. Prior experience working as a dental assistant is preferred but not required. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments. Familiarity with dental software systems for patient management and charting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.
