We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Two-Wheeler Mechanic to join our team in Trivandrum. Job Description: As a Two-Wheeler Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing motorcycles, scooters, and other two-wheeled vehicles. Your role will involve: Vehicle Inspection: Perform comprehensive inspections of two-wheelers to identify any mechanical, electrical, or technical issues. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently. Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on two-wheelers, including engine tune-ups, brake adjustments, oil changes, tire replacements, and electrical system repairs. Follow manufacturer specifications and service guidelines to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex mechanical and technical problems, such as engine malfunctions, electrical system failures, and suspension issues. Utilize problem-solving skills and technical expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Parts Replacement: Replace worn or damaged parts/components with new ones, ensuring compatibility and proper installation. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and accessories, and order replacement parts as needed to complete repairs in a timely manner. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with safety regulations and standards. Perform safety checks and test rides on vehicles after servicing to verify proper functionality and performance. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns, explain repair options, and provide cost estimates for services. Address any questions or inquiries from customers professionally and courteously, building trust and rapport. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and labor hours spent on each vehicle using our workshop management software. Complete service reports, invoices, and other documentation accurately and promptly. Workshop Maintenance: Keep the workshop clean, organized, and well-maintained to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Adhere to workplace safety procedures and guidelines at all times. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Two-Wheeler Mechanic or similar role, with a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in servicing motorcycles and scooters. Technical diploma or certification in automotive mechanics or a related field preferred. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and technical problems in two-wheelers. Familiarity with diagnostic tools, equipment, and software used in automotive repair shops. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing repairs and maintenance tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery. Valid driver's license for motorcycles/scooters and a clean driving record.
