Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages to guests' tables promptly and courteously, ensuring accuracy in order delivery and adherence to service standards. Monitor tables and refill drinks as needed, anticipating guests' needs. Table Clearance: Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly after guests finish their meals. Reset tables with clean linens and tableware for the next guests. Upselling: Recommend appetizers, desserts, or additional beverages to enhance guests' dining experience and increase sales. Highlight daily specials or promotional offers to encourage ordering. Customer Interaction: Interact with guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly and courteously. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally. Cash Handling: Present bills to guests accurately, process payments using cash, credit cards, or digital payment methods, and provide change as needed. Thank guests for their patronage and invite them to return. Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist with general cleaning tasks in the dining area, including wiping tables, chairs, and countertops, and sweeping or mopping floors. Ensure cleanliness and tidiness to create a pleasant dining environment. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waitstaff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Communicate effectively with colleagues to prioritize tasks and address guest needs. Adherence to Standards: Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and hygiene standards at all times. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary working environment. Requirements: Prior experience as a waiter or server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Physical stamina and endurance to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
