Job Description: As a Four-Wheeler Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in four-wheeled vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans. Your primary duties will include conducting vehicle inspections, performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting vehicle problems, and providing expert solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspections: Perform comprehensive inspections of four-wheeled vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues, including engine problems, transmission issues, brake malfunctions, steering and suspension problems, and electrical system faults. Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify the root causes of vehicle problems, including computerized diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and oscilloscopes, and interpret diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) to pinpoint vehicle malfunctions accurately. Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on various vehicle components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling systems, electrical systems, and HVAC systems, following manufacturer specifications and service procedures. Parts Replacement: Replace faulty or worn-out parts and components in vehicles, including spark plugs, filters, belts, hoses, brakes, batteries, alternators, starters, and sensors, ensuring proper installation and functionality to restore vehicle performance and reliability. Vehicle Service: Perform routine maintenance services on vehicles, such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, tire rotations, and wheel alignments, adhering to service schedules and preventive maintenance guidelines to prolong vehicle lifespan and prevent breakdowns. Diagnostic Testing: Conduct road tests and diagnostic evaluations on vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functioning of repaired components, systems, and controls, addressing any remaining issues or abnormalities as needed. Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their vehicle concerns, provide clear explanations of repair recommendations, and address any questions or concerns they may have regarding vehicle maintenance, repairs, or warranties. Documentation: Record all vehicle service activities, including inspections, repairs, parts replacements, and customer transactions, accurately in service logs, repair orders, or computerized databases for billing, warranty, and record-keeping purposes. Qualifications: Diploma or certification in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a four-wheeler mechanic or automotive technician. Strong technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for vehicle diagnosis and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing vehicle repairs and maintenance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
