Key Responsibilities: Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive, escort them to their tables, and assist with seating arrangements while maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor. Taking Orders: Present menus to guests, provide recommendations, and take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serving Food and Beverages: Deliver orders promptly to guests, ensuring that meals and beverages are served according to established standards and presentation guidelines. Providing Information: Offer detailed information about menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special dietary options, and answer any questions guests may have. Upselling and Recommending: Suggest additional items, specials, or wine pairings to enhance guests' dining experiences and increase sales revenue. Ensuring Guest Satisfaction: Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly to requests, and address any concerns or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, condiment stations, and service stations, throughout service hours. Processing Payments: Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit/debit cards, or digital payment methods, and issue receipts as necessary. Collaborating with Team: Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service team members to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Adhering to Safety Standards: Follow food safety and hygiene protocols, as well as restaurant policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and sanitary dining environment for guests and staff. Qualifications: Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality industry preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric attitude. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service. Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail offerings. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
