Parcel Sorting: Sort parcels and organize them for delivery according to delivery routes, addresses, and delivery schedules. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure roadworthiness, safety, and compliance with vehicle maintenance standards. Safe Driving: Drive delivery vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies at all times. Parcel Delivery: Deliver parcels to residential or commercial addresses accurately and efficiently, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery as required. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing inquiries, providing delivery updates, and resolving any delivery-related issues or concerns. Problem Resolution: Handle delivery-related challenges, such as incorrect addresses, recipient absence, or package damage, by following established procedures and communicating effectively with the dispatch team. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on delivery vehicles, such as refueling, cleaning, and minor repairs, to ensure vehicle reliability and performance. Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in parcel delivery, courier services, or a related field preferred. Familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and delivery routes in Ernakulam. Strong navigation skills and ability to use GPS navigation devices or mobile apps. Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines. Customer service-oriented mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry parcels weighing up to a specified limit. High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
