Accountant Job Opening in Malappuram

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The Accountant's responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Responsibilities: Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Prepare financial statements and reports summarizing financial status, transactions, and forecasts. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status, including profit and loss, and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. Prepare and process payroll, including taxes and deductions. Assist with budget preparation and forecasting. Manage and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. Perform internal audits and assist with external audits. Coordinate with external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and financial institutions. Requirements: Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
