Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste according to established procedures. Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients, or assembling food items, as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including washing sinks, floor drains, and dish racks. Follow proper safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries in the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff and colleagues to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during peak hours. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food products. Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen supervisors or managers to support the overall operation of the restaurant. Qualifications: No formal education requirements; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience working as a dishwasher or in a kitchen environment is an asset but not required.
