The ideal candidate will have experience in making porottas or similar flatbreads, as well as a passion for culinary arts and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and knead dough for porottas, ensuring the right consistency and texture for rolling. Divide and shape dough into individual portions, then roll out each portion into thin, round discs. Cook porottas on a hot griddle or tawa, flipping and pressing lightly to cook evenly and achieve the desired flakiness. Monitor cooking temperatures and adjust heat as needed to prevent burning or undercooking. Brush cooked porottas with ghee or oil to enhance flavor and prevent drying. Plate and serve porottas hot and fresh to customers, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Follow food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food products. Assist with other kitchen duties and tasks as needed, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning. Collaborate with other kitchen staff and chefs to coordinate meal service and ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Porotta Maker or similar role in a restaurant or culinary establishment.
