Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy server-side applications and APIs using backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate server-side logic with frontend components and user interfaces. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of applications. Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent security vulnerabilities. Optimize applications for maximum performance, including database queries, caching, and server-side optimizations. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend code to identify and fix issues, ensuring robustness and stability. Work closely with database administrators to design and optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development and recommend adoption of new tools and frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement to team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing backend projects and applications. Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or Ruby. Strong understanding of server-side programming concepts, RESTful APIs, and web services. Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis, including database design, querying, and optimization. Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, Angular). Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
