Job Description: As a Waiter, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service during their dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to guests' needs with professionalism and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and escort them to their tables. Present menus to guests and provide recommendations or descriptions of menu items. Take guests' orders accurately and enter them into the POS system promptly. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, following proper serving etiquette. Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or special requests. Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs, such as refilling drinks or providing additional condiments. Clear tables efficiently, removing used dishes and utensils between courses and at the end of the meal. Process guests' payments accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions with care. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and maintain food and beverage quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including resetting tables and cleaning spills or messes. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Previous experience as a waiter or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Strong customer service orientation and a desire to exceed guests' expectations. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays or carry plates. Knowledge of food and beverage items, including menu descriptions and ingredients, is a plus. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
