Job Description: As a Snacks Maker, you will play a crucial role in the production process, responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of snacks and savory items according to company recipes and standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have culinary skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating delicious snacks. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of snacks and savory items, including but not limited to, chips, fries, pakoras, samosas, and cutlets. Follow standardized recipes and cooking methods to ensure consistency and quality of products. Measure and portion ingredients accurately, adhering to specified quantities and proportions. Operate cooking equipment, such as fryers, ovens, grills, and stoves, safely and efficiently. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to prevent burning or overcooking of snacks. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including work surfaces, equipment, and utensils. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and replenishment of ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff and supervisors to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery of orders. Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, at all times. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a commercial kitchen or food manufacturing environment. Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Culinary certification or training from a recognized institution is preferred but not required. Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and consistency in food products. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
