Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with vehicle repair and maintenance needs, providing guidance, estimates, and support throughout the process. Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Greet customers and listen to their concerns or vehicle damage issues. Provide personalized assistance and guidance to customers regarding repair options, estimates, and timelines. Build rapport with customers and establish trust by providing transparent communication and excellent service. Vehicle Assessment: Inspect vehicles to assess damage, identify repair requirements, and determine the scope of work. Document and photograph vehicle damage, recording details for insurance claims and repair estimates. Consult with customers to understand their preferences and priorities for repairs and restoration. Estimates and Quoting: Prepare accurate estimates for vehicle repair costs, including parts, labor, and materials. Explain repair options and pricing to customers, ensuring transparency and clarity. Provide written estimates and obtain customer approval before initiating repair work. Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate with the body shop team to schedule repair appointments and allocate resources effectively. Ensure timely completion of repairs and adherence to estimated timelines. Communicate updates and progress reports to customers, keeping them informed throughout the repair process. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that customers are satisfied with the quality of repairs and the level of service provided. Address any concerns or issues raised by customers promptly and professionally. Follow up with customers after repairs are completed to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback. Documentation and Administration: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair orders, and invoices. Prepare documentation for insurance claims, including photos, estimates, and repair reports. Follow administrative procedures and protocols for processing payments, paperwork, and documentation. Requirements: Proven experience in a customer service or advisory role, preferably in an automotive or body shop environment. Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts, and materials. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers. Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating repair costs and documenting vehicle damage. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
