We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Food and Beverage Service Staff in Ernakulam. The Food and Beverage Service Staff will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in our restaurant or dining establishment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus in a courteous and professional manner. Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and beverage selections based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions. Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests' tables. Serve food and beverages to guests, using proper serving techniques and adhering to established presentation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests, concerns, or feedback to ensure a positive dining experience. Check back with guests periodically to ensure their needs are met and address any additional requests or refills. Anticipate guests' needs and provide proactive service, such as refilling water glasses, clearing plates, and offering dessert or coffee. Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations, to create a welcoming and sanitary environment. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in food and beverage service or hospitality is a plus. Previous experience in food and beverage service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and coworkers. Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and serving sizes. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak dining hours. Attention to detail and a focus on providing attentive and personalized service to guests. Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays and objects, and perform manual tasks associated with food and beverage service.
