Aluminium Fabrication Job Opening in Thrissur

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join our team in Thrissur. The Aluminium Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing aluminium products and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires expertise in aluminium fabrication techniques, proficiency in using fabrication equipment, and a commitment to producing high-quality aluminium products. Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the materials, dimensions, and layout requirements for aluminium fabrication projects. Measure, cut, and shape aluminium profiles, sheets, and extrusions using saws, shears, routers, and other cutting tools, ensuring accuracy and precision in dimensions. Operate fabrication machinery and equipment, including bending machines, punch presses, routers, and welding machines, to fabricate and assemble aluminium components and structures. Weld, braze, or solder aluminium parts and components together using various welding techniques, such as TIG, MIG, and arc welding, to create finished products. Grind, sand, and polish welds, seams, and joints to remove excess material and achieve a smooth and seamless finish. Drill, tap, and fasten aluminium components using screws, bolts, rivets, and adhesive bonding methods to assemble products and structures. Inspect fabricated aluminium components for defects, imperfections, and dimensional accuracy, and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed. Install fabricated aluminium products and structures at customer sites, following installation instructions and safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the fabrication workshop, including equipment, tools, and work areas, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when operating machinery, handling hazardous materials, and performing fabrication and installation tasks, to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication or welding is preferred. Proven experience as an Aluminium Fabricator or Welder in a manufacturing, construction, or fabrication setting. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication techniques, processes, and equipment, including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly. Demonstrated expertise in welding aluminium using different welding techniques, such as TIG, MIG, and arc welding. Ability to use fabrication tools and equipment safely and effectively, with a focus on precision and quality. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks in a workshop and construction site environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship in aluminium fabrication projects. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.
