Pizza Maker Job Opening in Kozhikode

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Maker to join our team in Kozhikode. The Pizza Maker will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards. This role requires proficiency in pizza making techniques, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering delicious and high-quality pizzas to our customers. Responsibilities: Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and portion sizes. Stretch and shape pizza dough by hand or using a rolling pin to achieve the desired thickness and shape. Spread sauce evenly over pizza dough, leaving a border around the edges, and add toppings such as cheese, meats, vegetables, and herbs. Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment to bake pizzas to perfection, monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent results. Rotate pizzas in the oven as needed to ensure even cooking and browning of crusts and toppings. Garnish finished pizzas with additional toppings or seasonings as required, and slice them into portions for serving. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the pizza preparation area, including work surfaces, utensils, and equipment, following food safety guidelines and procedures. Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels of pizza ingredients and supplies and placing orders as needed. Follow standard operating procedures and recipes to ensure quality and consistency in pizza preparation and presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to develop new pizza recipes, specials, and promotions to attract customers and increase sales. Requirements: Previous experience as a Pizza Maker or in a similar role in a restaurant or pizzeria. Strong knowledge of pizza making techniques, including dough preparation, sauce application, and topping placement. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed. Attention to detail and a focus on quality and presentation in pizza preparation and cooking. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, including proper handling and storage of perishable ingredients. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs. Positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
