We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Car Polishing Technician to join our team in Kodungallur. The Car Polishing Technician will be responsible for performing exterior and interior car polishing and detailing services to enhance the appearance of vehicles and meet customer satisfaction. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Key Responsibilities: Exterior Polishing: Wash and clean the exterior surfaces of vehicles to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Perform paint correction procedures to remove scratches, swirl marks, and imperfections from the vehicle's paint surface. Apply polishing compounds and buffing techniques to restore the shine and gloss of the vehicle's paintwork. Interior Detailing: Vacuum and clean the interior of vehicles, including carpets, upholstery, and dashboard surfaces. Use specialized cleaning products and equipment to remove stains, spills, and odors from the vehicle's interior surfaces. Apply protective coatings to leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces to restore shine and protect against UV damage. Wheel and Tire Polishing: Clean and polish wheels and tires to remove brake dust, road grime, and oxidation. Apply tire dressing products to enhance the appearance of tires and provide a glossy finish. Glass Cleaning: Clean and polish glass surfaces, including windows, mirrors, and windshield, to remove streaks and smudges. Apply glass sealants or coatings to improve visibility and repel water and contaminants. Paint Protection: Apply paint sealants, waxes, or ceramic coatings to protect the vehicle's paintwork from environmental damage and UV exposure. Educate customers about the benefits of paint protection treatments and recommend appropriate products based on their needs. Quality Assurance: Inspect vehicles before and after polishing and detailing services to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Touch up any areas that require additional polishing or attention to detail. Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their detailing needs and preferences. Provide recommendations and advice on detailing services and maintenance techniques to help customers maintain their vehicle's appearance. Workplace Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Car Polishing Technician or Auto Detailer, preferably in a professional detailing shop or automotive service center. Strong knowledge of car care products, polishing techniques, and detailing procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality workmanship. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Familiarity with detailing equipment, including polishers, buffers, steam cleaners, and vacuum systems. Certification or training in auto detailing or car care (preferred).
