We are seeking a skilled and experienced Two-Wheeler Mechanic to join our team in Malappuram. The Two-Wheeler Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles, scooters, and other two-wheeled vehicles. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, diagnostic tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis: Perform thorough inspections of motorcycles and scooters to identify mechanical, electrical, and other issues. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems and determine the root cause of vehicle issues. Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on two-wheeled vehicles, including engine repairs, brake adjustments, suspension repairs, and tire replacements. Replace worn or damaged parts, such as belts, chains, brakes, and spark plugs, with new components. Engine Overhaul and Tune-Up: Overhaul motorcycle engines, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly. Perform engine tune-ups, including adjusting ignition timing, carburetor settings, and valve clearances. Electrical System Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, ignition systems, and lighting components. Test and replace batteries, alternators, and electrical accessories as needed. Fuel System Maintenance: Clean and adjust carburetors, fuel injectors, and fuel lines to ensure proper fuel delivery and combustion. Inspect and repair fuel pumps, filters, and fuel tanks for leaks or damage. Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their vehicle problems and provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines. Communicate effectively with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates and explanations as needed. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Document parts used, labor hours, and service procedures for billing and warranty purposes. Shop Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workshop. Keep work areas clean and organized, including tool storage, parts inventory, and waste disposal. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Two-Wheeler Mechanic, preferably in a motorcycle dealership, service center, or independent repair shop. Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, with expertise in engine repair, electrical systems, and fuel systems. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment, including multimeters, scan tools, and compression testers. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of two-wheeled vehicle manufacturers, models, and specifications. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Certification or diploma in Automotive Technology or a related field (preferred).
