Key Responsibilities: Menu Development: Develop innovative and authentic South Indian menus that showcase a variety of traditional dishes, regional specialties, and seasonal ingredients. Plan menu rotations, specials, and promotions to keep offerings fresh and appealing to guests. Recipe Creation and Standardization: Create recipes for South Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes. Standardize cooking techniques and procedures to maintain quality across all dishes. Food Preparation and Cooking: Oversee the preparation and cooking of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, curries, chutneys, and desserts. Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure proper execution of recipes and adherence to quality standards. Ingredient Sourcing and Procurement: Source high-quality ingredients, spices, and produce for South Indian cuisine, emphasizing freshness, authenticity, and sustainability. Establish relationships with local suppliers and vendors to secure the best ingredients at competitive prices.
