We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ayurveda Therapist to join our team in Coimbatore. The Ayurveda Therapist will be responsible for providing traditional Ayurvedic treatments and therapies to clients seeking holistic wellness solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Ayurvedic principles, therapeutic techniques, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities: Client Consultation: Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their health concerns, medical history, and lifestyle factors. Listen attentively to clients' needs and preferences to develop personalized treatment plans. Ayurvedic Treatments: Perform a variety of traditional Ayurvedic therapies, including Abhyanga (oil massage), Shirodhara (oil pouring), Panchakarma (detoxification), and Nasya (nasal therapy). Administer herbal treatments, poultices, and steam baths as prescribed by Ayurvedic physicians. Marma Therapy: Apply gentle pressure to specific energy points (marma points) on the body to release blockages and promote energy flow. Utilize Marma therapy techniques to address physical discomfort, emotional imbalances, and energetic disturbances. Herbal Remedies: Prepare and administer Ayurvedic herbal formulations, decoctions, oils, and pastes for internal and external use. Educate clients on the therapeutic properties of Ayurvedic herbs and dietary supplements for enhancing health and well-being. Lifestyle Recommendations: Provide guidance on diet, nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and stress management techniques based on Ayurvedic principles. Encourage clients to adopt healthy lifestyle habits and routines to support their overall health goals. Documentation and Follow-Up: Maintain accurate records of client consultations, treatment sessions, and progress notes. Follow up with clients to assess treatment outcomes, adjust therapy plans as needed, and provide ongoing support and guidance. Qualifications: Certification or Diploma in Ayurveda Therapy or Panchakarma Therapy from a recognized institution. Proven experience working as an Ayurveda Therapist in a clinical or wellness setting. In-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, concepts, and therapeutic techniques. Proficiency in performing a variety of Ayurvedic treatments and therapies with precision and skill. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a genuine desire to help others achieve optimal health. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
