We are looking for a skilled Mobile Technician to join our team in Vadakara. The Mobile Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Diagnose hardware and software issues with mobile devices, including screen damage, battery problems, charging issues, and software glitches. Use diagnostic tools and testing procedures to identify root causes of mobile device malfunctions. Repair and Replacement: Perform repairs and replacements of defective components, such as screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and speakers. Conduct soldering, desoldering, and micro-soldering tasks to repair circuit boards and connections. Software Installation and Updates: Install, update, and configure mobile device software, operating systems, and applications. Perform factory resets, data backups, and software restores as needed to resolve software-related issues. Data Recovery and Transfer: Retrieve data from damaged or malfunctioning mobile devices using specialized tools and software. Transfer data between devices and backup storage to safeguard user data and information. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing guidance on mobile device usage and maintenance. Provide accurate estimates for repair costs, turnaround times, and service options, and obtain customer approval before initiating repairs. Quality Control and Testing: Perform quality control checks and testing procedures to ensure repaired devices meet performance and functionality standards. Conduct final inspections and functional tests before returning devices to customers. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of mobile device parts, components, and accessories. Order replacement parts and supplies as needed to replenish stock and meet repair demands. Qualifications: Diploma or certification in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mobile Device Repair, or related field. Proven experience as a Mobile Technician, Cell Phone Repair Technician, or similar role. Strong technical skills and knowledge of mobile device hardware, software, and operating systems. Proficiency in using repair tools and equipment, including soldering irons, heat guns, screwdrivers, and prying tools. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving mobile device issues. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers. Customer service orientation and commitment to delivering high-quality service and support. Physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling delicate components and performing intricate repairs.
