Key Responsibilities: Menu Planning and Development: Design menus featuring a diverse range of traditional and contemporary North Indian dishes, including appetizers, main courses, breads, and desserts. Incorporate seasonal ingredients, regional specialties, and innovative cooking techniques to create unique and enticing dishes. Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook North Indian dishes according to authentic recipes and culinary traditions, ensuring authenticity in flavors, aromas, and textures. Master various cooking methods, such as Tandoori, Dum Pukht, and curry preparations, to create flavorful and visually appealing dishes. Ingredient Selection and Procurement: Source high-quality ingredients, spices, and produce for North Indian cuisine, ensuring freshness, authenticity, and adherence to culinary standards. Establish relationships with local suppliers and vendors to procure specialty ingredients and seasonal produce for menu offerings. Kitchen Operations and Management: Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, to maintain consistency and quality in food production. Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, portion control, and food safety practices. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
