We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electronic Technician to join our team. The Electronic Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems, equipment, and devices. Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of electronic systems, equipment, and devices, including but not limited to, CCTV cameras, security systems, intercom systems, access control systems, and electronic appliances. Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine installation requirements, specifications, and compatibility of electronic systems with customer needs and preferences. Test electronic components, circuits, and systems for proper operation, using diagnostic tools, meters, oscilloscopes, and software, and diagnose faults or malfunctions. Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, calibration, and lubrication of electronic equipment, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and longevity. Replace defective components, such as circuit boards, sensors, actuators, switches, and wiring, and perform firmware updates or software upgrades to resolve issues and enhance functionality. Install and configure electronic devices, peripherals, and accessories, including wiring, connectors, mounts, brackets, and enclosures, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines. Program and set up electronic systems and control panels, including configuring settings, parameters, and user interfaces, and testing functionality to ensure proper operation and user-friendliness. Document and maintain accurate records of service calls, work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job, using service reports, work orders, and digital tracking systems. Provide technical support and assistance to customers, explaining installation procedures, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance guidelines, and offering solutions to technical problems. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electronics and telecommunications, attending training sessions, workshops, and certification programs as needed to enhance skills and knowledge. Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and support staff to coordinate installations, service calls, and warranty repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Uphold company values, policies, and ethical standards in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as an Electronic Technician, Electronics Technician, or Field Service Technician, with a minimum of [insert number of years] years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of electronic principles, circuits, components, and systems, including analog and digital electronics, microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators.
