We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team in Trivandrum. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting the operations, managing teams, and driving business growth. Responsibilities: Support the General Manager or Department Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Supervise and oversee the work of departmental teams, including team leaders, staff members, and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback as needed. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees, conducting interviews, orientation sessions, and on-the-job training to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to improve workflow, streamline processes, and enhance service quality and consistency. Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and financial targets, analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer service, to achieve business objectives, address challenges, and drive results. Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans, business initiatives, and growth strategies to expand market share, increase revenue, and achieve sustainable growth. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage inventory levels, supply chain logistics, and procurement activities, coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective operations. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, monitoring expenses, revenues, and profitability, and identifying opportunities to optimize costs and increase profitability. Conduct regular performance reviews, goal-setting sessions, and development discussions with team members, recognizing achievements and addressing performance issues proactively. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety regulations, labor laws, and industry standards. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape, conducting market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand awareness, build relationships, and explore business opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a similar industry or sector. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams to achieve goals and objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders at all levels. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in using business management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
