We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Two-Wheeler Mechanic to join our team. The Two-Wheeler Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing motorcycles and scooters to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks on motorcycles and scooters, including oil changes, filter replacements, brake adjustments, and tire rotations, according to manufacturer specifications. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques, identifying root causes and proposing solutions. Repair and replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality. Perform tune-ups and adjustments to engines, carburetors, fuel systems, and ignition systems to optimize performance and fuel efficiency. Conduct comprehensive inspections of two-wheelers to identify potential issues and safety hazards, providing recommendations for repairs and maintenance. Test ride motorcycles and scooters to verify repairs, diagnose performance issues, and ensure proper functioning of all systems and components. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and customer invoices, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or manual logs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop area, including tools, equipment, and workstations, following safety protocols and cleanliness standards. Assist customers with inquiries, provide estimates for repairs and services, and explain recommended maintenance procedures and options. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturer guidelines for motorcycle and scooter maintenance and repair. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and disposal of waste products. Collaborate with other members of the service team, including service advisors, parts specialists, and administrative staff, to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills, knowledge of new products, and customer service abilities. Requirements: Proven experience as a two-wheeler mechanic or similar role, preferably in a motorcycle dealership, service center, or automotive repair shop. Technical certification or diploma in automotive mechanics or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of motorcycle and scooter systems, components, and diagnostic techniques. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools, and specialized motorcycle repair tools. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair instructions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues. Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, stooping, and operating machinery. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
