We are currently seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our packing team and ensure the efficient and accurate packaging of our products. Responsibilities: Receive and review packing orders from the supervisor or production manager to determine packaging requirements and priorities. Gather and organize the necessary packing materials, such as boxes, cartons, labels, bubble wrap, and packing tape, for each order. Inspect products for quality, defects, and damage before packing and notify the supervisor of any issues or discrepancies. Assemble and pack products into designated containers or packaging materials according to specified packing instructions and standards. Arrange and stack packed items neatly and securely in shipping containers or pallets, ensuring proper weight distribution and load stability. Seal and label packed containers accurately with product information, shipping labels, barcodes, and other required markings. Record and maintain accurate records of packed items, quantities, and packaging materials used for each order. Operate packing equipment and machinery, such as tape dispensers, heat sealers, and pallet jacks, safely and effectively. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the packing area, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with inventory management and stock control by monitoring packing supplies and notifying the supervisor of low stock levels or replenishment needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas, to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment. Collaborate with team members and other departments to fulfill packing orders efficiently and meet production and shipping deadlines. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in packing, warehouse, or production environment is preferred but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently. Attention to detail and accuracy in packing and labeling products to prevent errors and discrepancies. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors effectively. Basic math skills for counting, sorting, and recording packed items and materials. Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime, as required by production schedules. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
