We specialize in providing high-quality tire sales, installation, and repair services for cars, trucks, and other vehicles. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter to join our team and ensure the safe and efficient fitting of tires for our customers. Responsibilities: Assist customers in selecting appropriate tires for their vehicles based on size, type, and performance requirements. Mount and balance tires on rims using tire mounting machines and wheel balancing equipment. Install tires on vehicles using appropriate tools, techniques, and safety procedures. Inspect tires for signs of wear, damage, or defects before installation, and report any issues to the supervisor. Perform tire rotations and tire pressure checks to ensure even wear and proper inflation. Repair punctured or damaged tires using tire repair kits, patches, and vulcanizing equipment. Align wheels and check wheel alignment using alignment tools and equipment, if necessary. Educate customers on proper tire maintenance practices, including tire rotation, balancing, and inflation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tire fitting area, including workstations, tools, and equipment. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while handling tires, tools, and equipment. Assist with inventory management, including stocking tires, tracking inventory levels, and ordering supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter or similar role, preferably in an automotive service center or tire shop. Strong knowledge of tire sizes, types, brands, and specifications. Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and fitting techniques. Ability to use tire mounting machines, wheel balancing equipment, and other tire fitting tools. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform precise tire fitting tasks. Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy tires and equipment. Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure proper tire installation and alignment. Good communication skills and customer service abilities to interact with customers and colleagues. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer demands. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for test drives or delivery duties).
