We specialize in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for cars, trucks, and other vehicles. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Wheel Alignment Technician to join our team and ensure the proper alignment of vehicle wheels for optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities: Perform wheel alignment inspections and assessments on vehicles to determine alignment issues and discrepancies. Use wheel alignment equipment, such as alignment racks, alignment machines, and measuring tools, to measure and adjust wheel angles according to manufacturer specifications. Align wheels to correct camber, caster, and toe angles to ensure proper tire wear, steering stability, and vehicle handling. Inspect suspension components, steering systems, and tire condition for signs of wear, damage, or alignment-related issues. Make necessary adjustments to suspension and steering components, such as adjusting tie rods, control arms, and camber/caster settings, to correct alignment problems. Replace worn or damaged parts, such as ball joints, bushings, and tie rod ends, as needed to restore proper alignment and steering performance. Perform road tests and final inspections to verify alignment accuracy, steering responsiveness, and vehicle stability. Advise customers on alignment issues, repair recommendations, and preventive maintenance measures to improve vehicle safety and performance. Provide estimates for alignment services and repairs and obtain customer approval before performing work. Maintain accurate records of alignment procedures, measurements, adjustments, and parts used for each vehicle service. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician or Automotive Technician, preferably in a busy automotive service center. Strong knowledge of wheel alignment principles, techniques, and equipment. Familiarity with suspension and steering systems, tire wear patterns, and alignment-related issues. Proficiency in using wheel alignment machines and diagnostic tools. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to perform precise alignment adjustments. Strong problem-solving skills and diagnostic abilities to identify and resolve alignment issues. Good communication and customer service skills to interact with customers and explain alignment procedures and recommendations. Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components and equipment. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate customer appointments and service demands.
