AC Technician Job Opening in Ernakulam

We specialize in providing installation, repair, and maintenance services for residential and commercial air conditioning systems. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair various types of air conditioning systems, including split AC units, window AC units, central air conditioning systems, and ductless mini-split systems. Perform installation tasks, such as mounting units, connecting refrigerant lines, wiring electrical components, and testing system functionality. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure proper operation and efficiency of AC systems, including cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with AC systems, such as compressor failures, refrigerant leaks, and thermostat malfunctions. Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, fans, capacitors, relays, and control boards, to restore system functionality. Perform system performance tests, including temperature and pressure measurements, to identify and address performance issues. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while working with electrical equipment and refrigerants. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, parts used, and customer interactions. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, and answering their questions about AC systems. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in air conditioning installation and repair. Requirements: Diploma or certification in HVAC technology, refrigeration, or a related field. Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC technician, preferably in a residential or commercial HVAC service company. Strong technical skills in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing air conditioning systems. Knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques. EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants preferred. Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, as needed.
