Electrician Job Opening in Kottayam

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts, specifications, and installation procedures. Inspect electrical components, such as circuit breakers, transformers, and switches, to identify faults, defects, or wear and tear. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of defective parts. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using test devices, such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in all work performed. Install and maintain lighting, power, and control systems, including wiring, conduits, and cable trays. Collaborate with other trades and contractors to coordinate electrical installations and repairs as needed. Provide estimates for electrical projects and advise clients on the best solutions for their electrical needs. Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and job completion status. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical work through ongoing training and professional development. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods. Strong technical skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics. Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and working at heights. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Valid electrician license or certification issued by the Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
