Job Title: Two-Wheeler Mechanic Location: Ernakulam, Kerala Job Description: As a Two-Wheeler Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles and scooters in our workshop in Ernakulam. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and performance of two-wheeled vehicles by conducting thorough inspections and performing necessary repairs and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks on motorcycles and scooters, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in two-wheeled vehicles using diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques. Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems. Inspect and test ride motorcycles and scooters to identify and verify performance issues. Adjust and tune engine components to optimize performance and fuel efficiency. Install accessories and aftermarket parts according to customer specifications. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts inventory using computerized systems. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with tools, equipment, and hazardous materials. Keep the workshop clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide estimates for repair costs and timelines to customers, and communicate effectively regarding repair progress and recommendations. Requirements: Diploma or certification in automotive technology or a related field. Proven experience as a motorcycle or scooter mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment. Strong technical knowledge of two-wheeled vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Attention to detail and precision in performing repairs and adjustments. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools and equipment in a workshop setting. Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in motorcycle servicing. Flexibility to work weekends or overtime hours as needed.
