As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by crafting delicious cocktails, providing attentive service, and maintaining a vibrant and inviting atmosphere in our bar.. Your primary goal will be to ensure that guests have a delightful and enjoyable experience in our bar, providing friendly and efficient service while showcasing your creativity and mixology skills. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating exceptional beverages. Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly as they enter the bar, engage them in conversation, and provide recommendations on beverages based on their preferences. Take drink orders from guests, accurately record their selections, and enter them into the point-of-sale system. Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, according to established recipes and standards. Mix ingredients to create unique and delicious cocktails, paying attention to proportions, flavors, and presentation. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including work surfaces, glassware, utensils, and equipment, in accordance with health and safety regulations. Ensure that all bar equipment is in good working condition, report any malfunctions or maintenance issues to management, and assist with troubleshooting as needed. Monitor and control inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies, and replenish them as needed to minimize waste and ensure availability. Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of guests and prevent underage drinking. Engage with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, anticipating their needs, answering questions about beverages, and providing recommendations. Prepare garnishes, condiments, and other bar ingredients in advance to expedite service during peak hours. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, process payments, and reconcile checks at the end of shifts. Follow responsible alcohol service practices, including monitoring guest alcohol consumption, identifying intoxicated guests, and taking appropriate action to prevent overconsumption. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations, including washing hands regularly, wearing gloves when handling food items, and sanitizing surfaces. Collaborate with other bar staff and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance mixology skills, learn about new beverages and trends, and stay updated on company policies and procedures. Requirements: Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role in a bar, restaurant, or hotel is preferred. Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including mixing cocktails, pouring drinks, and serving beverages. Creativity and passion for mixology, with the ability to create unique and delicious cocktails that delight guests. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Attention to detail and accuracy in taking orders, preparing drinks, and processing payments. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Fluency in Malayalam and basic proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
