As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness throughout our premises, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment for our guests and staff.Your primary goal will be to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our establishment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the facility, including corridors, lobbies, reception areas, and public spaces. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, including tables, chairs, countertops, and decorative items. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, and replenish restroom supplies as needed. Empty trash containers, collect and dispose of waste properly, and replace trash bags as needed. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, light switches, and handrails, to prevent the spread of germs. Clean windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces to ensure a streak-free shine. Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including sinks, countertops, and appliances, and wash dishes and utensils as needed. Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, and patio areas, by sweeping and removing debris. Perform deep cleaning tasks on a regular basis, such as shampooing carpets, washing walls, and steam cleaning upholstery. Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces and meeting rooms, including arranging furniture and setting up equipment. Assist with inventory management by keeping track of cleaning supplies and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor for prompt resolution. Collaborate with other cleaning staff and department members to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Requirements: Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not required. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, bend, stoop, lift, and stand for extended periods. Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning and maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed. Ability to communicate effectively in Malayalam or English.
