You will be responsible for coordinating restaurant operations, managing guest reservations, and ensuring that service standards are consistently met. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a Responsibilities: Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. Assist guests in making menu selections, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations. Coordinate guest reservations, seating arrangements, and table assignments to ensure efficient use of dining space. Supervise the front-of-house team, including waitstaff, hosts/hostesses, and runners, and provide guidance and support as needed. Train new team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction techniques. Monitor dining room activity to ensure a smooth flow of service and address any issues or concerns promptly. Anticipate guest needs and preferences, proactively resolve problems, and ensure guest satisfaction. Oversee the ordering and serving of food and beverages, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders. Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, seeking solutions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, linens, and tableware. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as restaurant policies and procedures. Monitor inventory levels of dining room supplies, such as utensils, glassware, and linens, and place orders as needed. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality and guest satisfaction. Uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence in service and hospitality. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve high performance. Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, menu items, and wine pairings. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a positive attitude and customer-centric mindset. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Proficiency in using restaurant POS systems and other technology tools.
