The DTP Operator will be responsible for designing and formatting various types of documents, publications, and graphics using desktop publishing software. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Design and layout various types of documents, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, posters, and reports, using desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Format and typeset text, images, and graphics according to established design guidelines and specifications. Create and manipulate graphic elements, illustrations, and images to enhance the visual appeal of documents. Prepare print-ready files and ensure proper setup of color, resolution, and file formats for printing. Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Proofread and review documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Maintain an organized file management system and archive completed projects for future reference. Keep abreast of design trends, software updates, and industry best practices to continually improve skills and techniques. Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on DTP-related issues and software usage. Requirements: Proven experience as a DTP Operator or Graphic Designer with expertise in desktop publishing software. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant software applications. Strong understanding of typography, layout principles, and design fundamentals. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design and formatting. Creativity and the ability to conceptualize and execute visually appealing designs. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and team members. Time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of printing processes, color management, and prepress techniques. Familiarity with different file formats and their appropriate use for print and digital output. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
