Job Description: As a member of the housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, order, and hygiene throughout our establishment. You will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities are clean, tidy, and inviting for our guests. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and cleaning bathrooms. Ensure that all surfaces, fixtures, and amenities in guest rooms are clean, sanitized, and in good condition. Clean and sanitize public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, corridors, elevators, and restrooms, on a regular basis. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all designated areas to remove dirt, debris, and stains. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas, ensuring proper recycling and disposal procedures are followed. Replenish supplies such as towels, linens, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms and public areas as needed. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor or management promptly for resolution. Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in housekeeping operations. Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and other items as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in housekeeping storage areas, linen closets, and supply rooms. Adhere to health and safety regulations and standards at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Qualifications: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks. Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is a plus.
