Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dishwashing area, including cleaning sinks, countertops, and equipment surfaces regularly. Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables, chopping ingredients, and portioning food items, as needed. Follow safety protocols and procedures when handling kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, and hot surfaces to prevent accidents and injuries. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of food orders, communicating effectively and proactively to support teamwork. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or manager promptly to ensure timely resolution. Uphold company standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in all aspects of dishwashing and kitchen operations. Follow instructions and guidelines provided by the supervisor or manager, including adhering to shift schedules, break times, and work assignments. Qualifications: Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning and sanitizing dishes and utensils to ensure food safety and hygiene. Physical stamina and endurance to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
