The Four Wheeler Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various systems and components of four-wheeled vehicles. Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspection: Conduct comprehensive inspections of four-wheeled vehicles to identify mechanical issues, faults, and defects. Use diagnostic tools, equipment, and manuals to assess the condition of engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and other components. Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and malfunctions in four-wheeler vehicles. Utilize diagnostic software, scanners, and test equipment to identify root causes and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Repair and Maintenance: Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks on various systems and components of four-wheeled vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems. Replace worn or damaged parts, adjust settings, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Engine Overhaul: Overhaul and rebuild engines as needed, including disassembly, inspection, machining, reassembly, and testing. Repair or replace engine components such as pistons, cylinders, valves, camshafts, and crankshafts to restore engine performance and efficiency. Transmission Repair: Repair and rebuild transmissions and drivetrain components, including manual transmissions, automatic transmissions, differentials, and transfer cases. Inspect, adjust, and replace clutch assemblies, gears, bearings, and seals to resolve transmission issues and ensure smooth operation. Brake and Suspension Work: Perform brake repairs, including pad replacement, rotor resurfacing, caliper servicing, and brake fluid flushing. Inspect, repair, and replace suspension components such as shocks, struts, control arms, and bushings to maintain vehicle stability and ride comfort. Electrical System Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical problems in four-wheeler vehicles, including wiring issues, electrical shorts, battery problems, and lighting malfunctions. Test electrical circuits, repair or replace faulty components, and ensure proper operation of electrical systems. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the repair process to ensure that work meets company standards and industry regulations. Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and identify any remaining issues or concerns.
