We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join our team in Kozhikode. The Electronic Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic principles, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with a variety of electronic devices. Responsibilities: Install, test, and commission electronic systems and equipment, including but not limited to, audiovisual systems, security systems, communication systems, and industrial control systems. Troubleshoot electronic equipment and systems to identify faults, diagnose issues, and implement repairs or replacements as necessary. Perform preventative maintenance on electronic systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability, including cleaning, calibration, and component replacement. Interpret electronic schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to understand system operation and diagnose problems effectively. Use electronic test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers, to conduct measurements and verify system functionality. Repair or replace defective electronic components, such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, integrated circuits, and circuit boards, using soldering tools and techniques. Program and configure electronic devices and controllers, such as microcontrollers, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and embedded systems, to meet specific requirements. Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to coordinate installation projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, equipment logs, and inventory management, using electronic databases or paper-based systems. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electronic repair and maintenance through ongoing training and professional development. Requirements: Diploma or certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field from a recognized technical institute or vocational school. Proven experience as an Electronic Technician or similar role, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electronic repair, maintenance, and installation. Strong understanding of electronic principles, circuits, and components, with proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment and tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and diagnostic software. Familiarity with a variety of electronic systems and devices, such as audiovisual equipment, security cameras, access control systems, and industrial automation systems. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electronic problems efficiently. Proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques, surface-mount soldering, and through-hole soldering, with a focus on quality and precision. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and meet deadlines effectively.
