We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team in Kozhikode. The Restaurant Supervisor will assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. Responsibilities: Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Supervise restaurant staff during shifts, delegating tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that all team members perform their duties effectively and efficiently. Greet guests, escort them to their tables, and ensure that they receive prompt and courteous service throughout their dining experience, addressing any inquiries or concerns as needed. Monitor the dining area, ensuring that tables are set up correctly, cleanliness standards are maintained, and ambiance is conducive to a pleasant dining atmosphere. Assist with training and onboarding new restaurant staff, providing instruction on service standards, menu items, POS systems, and other operational procedures. Conduct pre-shift meetings with restaurant staff to communicate daily specials, promotions, and service expectations, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints professionally and tactfully, resolving issues promptly and escalating to the Restaurant Manager when necessary. Assist in inventory management tasks, including monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and placing orders for supplies and ingredients as needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance overall restaurant performance. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the restaurant industry, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities as needed. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, POS systems, and customer service principles. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
