The North Indian Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of authentic North Indian dishes, including curries, breads, appetizers, and desserts, while ensuring high standards of taste, quality, and presentation. This role requires expertise in North Indian cuisine, proficiency in cooking techniques, and a passion for culinary excellence. Responsibilities: Prepare a diverse range of North Indian dishes, such as paneer dishes, dal, biryanis, tandoori items, kebabs, and desserts, following authentic recipes and culinary standards. Plan and organize daily food preparation tasks, including ingredient selection, portioning, and cooking methods, to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Coordinate with kitchen staff, Sous Chefs, and other team members to prioritize orders, manage food inventory, and maintain consistency in food quality and taste. Ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food ingredients, equipment, and kitchen utensils, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Monitor cooking temperatures, cooking times, and food presentation, adjusting techniques or recipes as needed to achieve desired flavors, textures, and visual appeal. Proficiency in using traditional North Indian cooking equipment, such as tandoor ovens, grills, and clay pots, as well as modern kitchen appliances.
